Apple Picking

Even though summer seemed like it went by way too fast, I do love what fall brings!!!
APPLES!!!

It's all about the headbands lately

Looks like Tommy and I were roped into Kassie's new fascination with headbands.

Sticker

We took the kids to Burger King one day because it's our favorite place to eat. Well, not really but it was fast, convenient, and cheap. While we were eating, Tommy kept pointing to a man and saying, "sticker, sticker!!!". It turns out he was pointing to the man's tattoos.

Preschool

Kassie started preschool a couple weeks ago. She goes every day for a few hours. I shouldn't say everyday because on Friday she doesn't. On Mondays and Wednesdays, Kassie has the mom co-op group and on Tuesdays and Thursdays she has Light and Life. I worried that it might be too much for her but she seems to really enjoy going. I wouldn't call Kassie a "morning person" so it's good we get ready and go because it doesn't leave much time for grumpiness!! There have been a few days where she has crashed during quiet time but I think she'll continue to have fun.

A few more things Kassie has been up to are, riding her bike and playing with her friends. She is a social butterfly and will go from playing Star Wars to Princesses in no time.

Kid Olympics

I'm posting this late but a few weeks ago there was a super fun church activity at our neighborhood park called "Kid Olympics".
Here's Kassie participating in the Shot Put.
Tommy in the Discus.
The rings
The two gold medalists. Tommy just wasn't satisfied with one gold!

Rock N' Roll Baby

Tommy is becoming Mr. Independent. He absolutely did not want me to hold his hand. He wanted to "skate" or inch along all by himself. As you can see, Kassie had a different idea. She knew that holding hands would mean she wouldn't end up with a bruised bottom. Luckily, Tommy had some extra padding in the back!

Doing the Hokey Pokey was the highlight of the event.
