Kassie got glasses

Kassie had mentioned more than a few times about having headaches at school.  I hate to admit that I brushed it off more than a few times too.  I should definitely get the mom award for this.  I was in denial I guess.  It turns out that all those headaches and not being able to see the board were all for a good reason.  I took Kassie out of school and went to get her eyes checked.  She picked out some super cute glasses with a pink trim.  They fit her personality and most importantly they allow her to see!

It was a "friend" year for Tommy.  The Flip Zone was a perfect place for 12 kids to celebrate his birthday.  The kids thought it was "totally awesome" and I thought the same because I didn't have to plan or clean up!
Tommy is a kid who tries hard to do what's right.  He has always been a rule follower and will tell you if you're not making good choices.  He fully admits to struggling with listening the first time.  I believe he really wants to listen.  Tommy definitely has a stubborn side! Wow!  He can sure on turn it on when he's frustrated or not getting his way.  Oh, but he can sure be a sweet boy who gives me kisses and helps me out.  I love it when he does that.  He continues to make improvements in many areas with his behavior.  He is getting along better with kids and doesn't get as frustrated with them and tries to say "ok" more often.  I have been throwing away one of his toys each time he screams no at me.  It seems to be working quite well at the moment, especially since I threw away one of his new Bionicles he got for his birthday.  Tommy does really well in school.  He switches classrooms for Centers and Reading.  He is working above grade level according to his report card.  He however isn't into reading like I wish he would be.  He's just not that interested but that's ok.  He says he doesn't like school that much because he doesn't learn anything new.  (whatever)
I love him to death and I am glad he's my son.

Catch Up and JD at 2 months

Kassie loves her fish Firefins and she does a great job taking care of it.  Here she is with her puppet show that she made and yes you guessed right, Firefins was the star.  She even had an audience.
JD is such a chubby sweetie pie.  Now that he's smiling and cooing, the kids enjoy playing with him.  Kassie wants to hold him all the time and she especially wants to hold him while standing up.  I think it makes her feel grown up.  Samantha is good with him.  She doesn't show too much interest which I guess is good.  Sometimes she wants to hold him too like the bigger kids but as soon as I put JD in her lap, she quickly says he's too heavy.  He is heavy and he is my biggest baby.  I feel like I should be able to put him on my hip but I can't because his head control isn't good enough yet.  At three months he weighed 15 pounds.
