Samantha turned 3

Samantha Jean is three.  What can I say, she's growing up.  Samantha has a lot of personality and her long dark eye lashes are to die for.  Age three hasn't been the easiest age, surprise, surprise.  She often calls me "stinky face and mean mommy". I can't forget to mention the screaming and crying that takes place a million times a day and the constant refusal of letting me pull the hair out of her face AND saying everything piece of clothing is too TIGHT.  But we do love this cute girl.

My Birthday, 34th that is!

I have the best friends ever!  They are all very special to me.  We had lunch at the park to celebrate while all the kids run around.

Mother's Day 2013

This Mother's Day was special because I was extra grateful to be able to cerebrate it these four little people.  Motherhood is difficult and most days I wonder if I'm doing a good enough job to send them into the world.  After I got out of the hospital, I made a goal to enjoy motherhood more and recognize the small happy times.   I love these kids so much and I'm so grateful to be their mom!

Samantha's first hair cut

I'll be the first to admit, Sammie J's hair first hair cut was a little traumatic for me.  She has such beautiful hair that bounces up and down when she runs and it's so easy to braid.  I think I was a little attached to be honest but.... it was getting too long and out of control.  Samantha had such a hard time sitting still and she kept moving her head but luckily everything turned out ok.  She's still as cute as a button.
(In the last picture I was trying to hold the balloon for her so I could take a picture but she kept pulling it and laughing at me.)

Baby JD is 4 months

If I had to choose two words to describe JD, it would be sweet and round  !  He's such a happy chunky baby.  We love him so much.  He wakes up once a night and then at 6:30.  I usually bring him in my bed and we snuggle until it's time for the kids to wake up.  JD is a cat napper, so lately when I need to clean for a showing, I put him in the swing.  He's a trooper though.  Some days we are in and out of the car and he doesn't mind.  JD weighed 17 pounds at his 4 month.  Wow, he is getting extremely heavy in his car seat.
