Our last Indiana Summer Part 1

Yukiko and I went to see the Mormon Tabernacle Choir together.  What a great experience for both of us!
Grandma Karen paid for Kassie and Tommy to go to an exciting week at Camp Invention.
Summer is always about playing outside with the Unos.  The kids catch bugs, play in the water, ride bikes, eat lots of popsicles and run around like crazy people.
Yukiko cooked a big Japanese dinner for us before we left!  My kids love her food!  We had sushi, egg rolls, spring rolls, grilled meat and vegetables. It was delicious!
Saxon Beach:  I'm pretty sure we picked the hottest day of the summer to go.  The water was questionable and had floating things.  The beach was a big hit.

Flag Football

Tommy had a great season in flag football.  Lee was able to be his coach because that's what 5th year residents get to do, right.  Tommy had a few friends on his team and of course he ended with a much anticipated trophy.

Lee's Residency Graduation

Lee's Residency Graduation was the night we were looking forward to for five long years.
There was a nice dinner and a speaker who was fun to listen to. (They usually are long and boring)
Each resident gave a little speech when they accepted their award.  Lee was a little teary eyed when he thanked everyone for their help and support while he was taking care of his family when JD was born.  I am so proud of what Lee's accomplished.  He's worked long hours and sacrificed so much to live his dream of becoming an Orthopedic Surgeon. It was a nice night and Lee and I said, "Well, the days are long but the years are short.  Now it's onto Fellowship."  One more year to go.
Fellow five year wives. Kim, Holly, Jenny, Me, Meredith
Resident husbands. Ryan, Matt, Justin, RJ and Lee
Me and Lindsay.  On the night of the graduation dinner for the past couple of years, Lindsay would come over and I would do her makeup.
