Good Morning

I know some day Kassie won't be too happy with me posting these pictures of her but I couldn't resist. She just woke up and had no problems smiling for the camera. If you thought her hair was messy before, you thought wrong.

Farewell

We had our friends over for dinner to say goodbye without saying goodbye. If that makes sense. They are moving next week. I hope this isn't the last time our girls get to play dress up with each other. They always just let the good times roll.
Kassie is a fairy princess and Grace is the bride.
Kevin made Tommy laugh the hardest he's ever laughed.

Avery Fountains

This week were able to go Avery Fountains twice. I think it's one of Kassie's favorite places to runandjumpandplay. (She says it like it's one word.) The water isn't the warmest but on a hot day it's perfect. It took Kassie a few minutes to feel brave and venture out, so she wanted me to hold her hand and walk around.

But pretty soon this is what she was doing!
I love this picture of her.
Tommy did eventually wake up and was able to experience the water on his little toes. He didn't think it was that great.

Memorial Day

Today we went to our annual Memorial Day breakfast. We were a little late because Kassie slept in, but there was plenty of food.
We brought Kassie's baseball bat and a few balls. Kassie and her friend Ellie enjoyed running but not around the bases, go figure. They also wanted to hit off of the tree stump even though it made hitting the ball more difficult.

Later on after lunch, Kassie and I had "Mommy Daughter Time" and went to the movies together. I should have taken a picture of us.
We waited for the weather to cool off before we took our usual evening walk around the neighborhood." Word to my mama, where's my ba ba?"
"Gosh, I'm cute!"

"Do you smell something?"

"I see you Mom."
"Peek a Boo"

"I'm Jane. Where's Tarzan?"

A Visit From Grandma Brenda

Zoo

Kassie and the kids.

Kassie was more interested in Grandma's necklace than the animals.
The cutest prairie dog I've seen.

Don't ask!

Jeni's Ice Cream at the North Market
"But I want ice cream too!"
Kassie wasn't in the mood to take a picture of our new dresses that Brenda made for us. We were the stylish duo.
