A Little Bit of Prescott

A walk on the Peavine Trail with my friend Shea.
Huge Bull Snake on our driveway.

Kids before church.  The weather her is amazing!
Hiking Thumb Butte with a 30 lb dead weight and my friend Shea and baby Beau.
I love our view from our porch.

An old friend

Toni and I played tennis together at WNMU and we were also roommates.  She was in town for her son's basketball tournament.  It's been more than 10 years since I saw her last but we picked up like it was yesterday.  I loved seeing her.

We got a puppy. I repeat, we got a puppy!

Meet Ginger the Labradoodle.  Kassie has been asking for a dog for a long long time.  In fact, that's an under statement.  She's been asking for a dog constantly since I can remember.  Everyone was excited to get Ginger.  Kassie, Tommy and I took a trip down to the Phoenix airport on a school night to pick her up.  Ginger's flight from Iowa was delayed so yeah we didn't get home until 11:30pm.  We put Ginger in her kennel in the mudroom hoping she would sleep but she whined and cried for hours.  Luckily, I had a thought to put an old dog stuffed animal in her kennel with her.  That thought was heaven sent because she stopped and we got a few hours a sleep.  Kass and Tom were troopers and went to school on time the next morning.

Samantha's first day of preschool

Samantha started Pre-K at American Lutheran Preschool this year.  She goes every day from 9-11:30 with the option of staying for Lunch Bunch afterwards.  Her teacher is Mrs. Dubord who is so wonderful and kind.  Samantha did get a hair cut before school started.  I told her she needed to let me comb her hair or we'd get it cut short.  So, here she is with a very cute short hair cut.

Ohio Visitors

Aunt Sue and Uncle Doug were in Arizona visiting, so they stopped by our new place.  We loved seeing them!  They were like surrogate parents to us while we lived in Ohio and Indiana.  So many memories we shared together.  I miss seeing them.
