Kassie's Day

On Tuesday it was Kassie's turn to bring snack and something special to share with her class. We made pumpkin sugar cookies with Halloween sprinkles. Kassie chose to bring her super heroes, Superman and Spiderman to show the class.

We took Lee's mom to Inniswoods to show her the beautiful fall colors.

My Little Pouter

I thought boys weren't suppose to be as dramatic as girls. This is Tommy pouting because I took a piece of paper away. His bottom lip curls under and his head goes straight for the floor.

Boo at the Zoo

A little mouse told us Spider Man was at the zoo so we headed over there yesterday after dinner. Rain was of course in the forecast (what else is new?) but we decided to take a chance and go for it. Kassie was a little intimidated at first but warmed up to the super hero and had a good time.

Daddy's Home

Yes, Lee is officially home from Arizona. He has survived being bombarded with all the typical stuff kids like to do to their dads after they've been gone for a while. You know, like being a human pillow, kissed and hugged every two seconds, can't take a shower because someone wants to play, and all that good stuff.

The Pumpkin Show Disaster

On Friday the kids and I went to the Circleville Pumpkin Show and yes it was a disaster. We left around 1:30 p.m. and didn't get there until 3:30 p.m. The traffic was horrible and I had to park really far away. We finally made in time for the parade which meant I couldn't move the double stroller very well in between all the people. We spent maybe a half and hour there and left. So, my hopes of trying different kinds of pumpkin foods was shattered. Kassie did get to ride a pony for $4, which made her happy.

The last of the AZ pictures

My blogging time has been so short lately. Sorry there aren't any captions. Kassie officially turned three on October 10th. My dad's birthday is the 9th so we celebrated them together up at my parent's cabin.

More AZ Fun

I think I took about eight thousand pictures of these two before Kassie actually looked at the camera and said "cheese". Kassie and her cousin Mimi in matching princess outfits.
Tommy having fun too!
According to Kassie's eight year old cousin, they were playing scary-super-heroes with ballerina outfits. They each had a certain power, I guess.
This is Tommy's teething face.
This is Kassie's cousin Jake. She really wanted to be the "black bad guy".
I tried to explain to her that this "black bad guy" breaths really heavy but she didn't think heavy breathing was very cool.

Birthday Girl

"Wow, it's my pink cake!"
"Can we open presents, please?"
"Oooo, I love these beautiful sparkly bracelets!"
We celebrated Kassie's birthday early by going to Chuck E Cheese's.

T-Bone

Tommy has a new nick name.......T-Bone. Can you guess why? Yep, he's a growler! I bet you're thinking how could such a cute face do such a thing!
