The T-man is 5

Tommy is a great kid! We have had some serious growing pains over the last two years and it hasn't been easy! My crazy switch as I like to call it, has been switched to high on multiple occasions. Man, he is stubborn and keeps me on my toes! Tommy is a hard worker. His laugh is wonderful and contagious!!!! He is extremely determined and focused! He even has better handwriting than me. Well, not quite but close. He has come a long way from when he told me he was going to "punch me in the face" when Samantha was born. Things still aren't perfect. Just today, Tommy refused to participate in his team basket ball pictures at the Y. He made a big scene and hid in the corner. Yeah, talk about EMBARRASSING!!!! I wanted to go hide in the corner too! Life goes on and luckily he did participate in his basketball game. He even made 2 baskets! He's an awesome dribbler.
He is so good with Samantha and just recently wrote Kassie a letter telling her she's a "grat sistr". He'll make Kassie's bed for her and doesn't think twice about cleaning all three toilets in the house! Wow, I love him!

Catching Up

I have been a bad blogger lately. I like to read other blogs but mine seems to be neglected more than it should. I need to catch up a bit on my posts so here's a start!

Samantha has developed a new talent of taking off her clothes and diaper whenever she can. Nap time is especially fun for her but not so much for me. I've had to take drastic measures to keep her clothes on!

Kassie went through a phase where she would only check out Geronimo books from the library. She thought they were hilarious! Now she likes the Box Car Children and White Fang!

I am glad Samantha likes to dress up! It brings back memories of Kassie back when she liked princesses.

I had throw this one in of Lee changing the oil in both cars in the freezing cold garage!

Valentines was fun! I came home to find our front door decorated. One of the Young Women in our ward is doing a fundraiser for a trip to Europe and had the husbands sign up for her to decorate as a Valentine gift to their wives and kids.

This outfit was Kassie's and I can still picture her in it.

I watched my friend's little boy for a week. Kassie was home to play swords with him because she had Strep Throat. Tommy was also home because he was throwing up for three days. (See picture below). It's a miracle our visitor didn't get sick too!

Samantha didn't get sick either! That was another miracle!

I am so glad Kassie and Samantha are sisters.

Poor Tommy!!

Last but not least, I had a run in with the flour! I keep it above my microwave and I guess I didn't close the lid all the way. The kids were laughing at me! I thought I cleaned it all up but when Lee came home later, he asked why I had flour in my ear.
