I am a Mother

This past year has been hard! My abilities as a stay at home mom were definitely challenged! Having baby #3 threw us all for a loop! Lee's schedule as a third year was tough! Looking back over this past year, I was so grumpy and tired ALL of the time. I was in survival mode, just trying to get by. Chicken nuggets and wrinkled laundry were famous in our house!

Despite all of the crying, whining and screaming that occurred and still occurs, I love my kids and I am glad I'm their mother.

I'm looking forward to starting a "new year". A year without a newborn and 4th year of residency.

Samantha is 11 months

Cuteness will be one in a few weeks and is doing well! She's so happy and fun to be around! Here's a few pictures of her latest happenings!

Making messes ALL of the time.

Standing up by herself.

(Check out the stained shirt. A certain someone likes to pull her bib off while eating.)

Reading baby books!

Chewing on things. It's her favorite pastime!

Being "held" by brother and sister with a smile! What a good sport!

She has learned a few more signs like elephant and bird. My favorite is when she roars like a tiger!

10 months (last month)

I can't believe my baby will be one next month! This year has flown by and sometimes I wish little Sam could stay 10 months forever. I love this age!

She's a mover and a shaker! Always on the go, go, go and making messes! I think she gained a pound so, she's up to a whopping 18 big ones. Those skinny chicken legs are getting strong though, cruising around and getting ready to walk.

Samantha isn't a big eater but she loves her bottle! I can't get her to sit in her booster for very long and she doesn't like sippy cups. She does love strawberries, grapes, and blueberries. I have noticed her tummy is sensitive to certain foods and she is still spitting up. I haven't been very adventurous with trying new foods with her. Plus, she doesn't have any teeth yet.

She is starting to communicate and it's really, really cute. She knows a few signs like light, all done, and more but she's not super consistent with them. It's just cute to see her move her tiny hands.

I love this kid!
