Happy Easter To You

This Easter was a little different than we're used to. It was FREEZING! You can tell by the picture below of Kassie who looks like she is about to turn into a popsicle. She was a good sport and braved the cold.

I took her to Whetstone Park for an Easter Egg Hunt.

After the hunt we went to a Duckling Day Parade. I have always wanted to go and I'm so glad we finally went.
Here's my little duckling in her costume. There were lots of kids in cute duck costumes that they made.
My other little duckling was at home with Lee taking a nap.

Decorating eggs princess style.

I'm jealous, I've always wanted to go to the Duckling Day Parade too! Glad you made the effort and were able to go. Kassie looks totally cute dressed up!

so did they really have eggs at whetstone? last year we went and it was just candy thrown all about and evan was disappointed not to have eggs to hunt!

We had the same egg dye! I guess you can tell we are both mothers of little girls. Julia went nuts over the princess stickers and glitter and she wore the pink crown the entire time as well!

The duckling day parade...what a great idea! We'll have to do that next year. Cute costume Katherine. You're so crafty!
