March Recap In a Nutshell

Boy do I need to update our blog. I have been distracted by the nice weather, sick kids (both kids had another ear infection) quiet book pages and the usual every day things. I have even fallen behind on thank you notes from Tommy and Lee's birthdays. So, here's a quick recap of March, enjoy!

First and fore most, Lee and I celebrated our 7 year anniversary! It was probably the most low key one we've had so far. We really didn't do much because we were spoiled last month and went on three dates. Yes, three dates without kids in one month. Awesome!! We did take the kids to one of our favorite places, Chipotle and then to H&H Gregg to look around.
I must get a little mushy and say how grateful I am to for Lee. He is absolutely amazing and I love him so much!!

Once there was a snowman who took all of my free time but turned out pretty cute, if you ask me. Yes, I took the plunge and joined another quiet book group. At first I thought I was just plain crazy but I am actually almost FINISHED! In a lot of ways, this time was little easier and I didn't make the same mistakes. The idea is to build your own snowman. The circles can come off too and I am still planning to make a scarf and twig arms to go with it.

Besides staying up way too late to work on my quiet book page, I did get the urge to do some more decorating. My mom bought me a few things from Stampin' Up and this is one of the new vinyl lettering that they sell. Pretty snazzy, huh!

For our mom's group preschool, we took a field trip to the fire station. The kids learned about fire safety and were able to sit in the fire truck.

This picture isn't the greatest but I wanted to document it. Tommy LOVED sitting in the fire truck. He seriously would not get out! I had to pull him out kicking and screaming and then he kept trying to climb back in!!

We also had preschool at our house last week and did fire safety to go along with the field trip. The coolest part, according to Kassie was making an edible fire truck out of crackers, pretzels, red frosting, and Honey Combs.

And last but not least, we got two new puppies here in Indy. Aren't they cute!!

yes, jeff comes to jazzercise....a little odd, but whatever. and this other guy who is younger like late 30's...bugs me a bit, why can't it be just women? oh well. yeah front desk would be nice, i'll have to ask christine...i've babysat 5 times and only had kids come twice. the afternoon spot isn't as popular yet as the morning. christine is usually teaching when i go and i like keeyah too and a new girl is becoming certified.

You are doing such great things. I love your wall of photos and your quiet book. We are starting a little play school with Clare and I loved your ideas about making little fire trucks and learning fire saftey.
