Kassie's Owl Party

We had a hard time deciding what theme we should use for Kassie's 8th birthday party. We had to make it a good one since this was her "friend year". She likes Pokemon but LOVES animals so we went with an owl theme. We had pizza right when the guests arrived and then opened presents.  We called Samantha "Swiper" while Kassie opened her presents because she swiped the goods as soon as Kassie put them down.  Lee made an in depth scavenger hunt that needed to be done outside but unfortunately it was raining, so he quickly changed it for inside.  The scavenger hunt lead them to the garage where they found owl pellets to dissect.  Most of them thought it was pretty cool and were super excited about it.  There were a few that didn't think all the fur and bones was something they wanted to dive into.
